I went to Sephora today before work just to browse and a Phyto rep assisted me after i mistook him for a Sephora associate:grin:

He gave me a bunch of samples of one of the masks and some shampoos. Another rep completely interrupted our transaction just to show me what my scalp looked like under this dumb microscope camera hooked up to a laptop.

All i had was some buildup from my SM curl smoothie and gel from yesterday since i didn't co wash today. Idk if she was expecting to embarrass me.....idk what her issue was but i wanted to push her down....but I've been working on my temper so...i let it slide:lol:

Anyway....im gonna try these samples this weekend.

I laughed when she gave me 1 pack of conditioner....i looked at her and said "can i get extra conditioner?"

But does anyone use these products. They claim to have no cones, parabens or alcohol. I haven't had a chance to read all the ingredients yet.

LOl @ you wanted to push her down. I use the protein treatment. (its a prepoo oil) LOVE IT!! tried the scalp pre poo oil that is suppose to clear scalp pores etc.. I took it back it was wack. LOL. I think that's what she was trying to sell you after showing you your scalp.

Oh...okay. Bc i almost read her her rights when she tried to imply i don't wash my hair properly. lol!!!

The guy had nothing but compliments for me and said my hair felt really nice and was well taken care of....:::lip pop:::... *pops collar*

LoL! My first thought was she was probably trying to weave check you and then to only give you one sample pack! Absurd! LoL The guy knows how to sell! I really wanna know how you like the mask when you try it.

Nothing to add, but this made me giggle

I've used several of their products, including Phyto 7, 9 and some of the DC'ers.

They are 'nice' but there are better things out there especially for the Price Point.

I used to use their products...they worked well but nothing wowed me except the relaxer. If I were to pay that much for products, I'd just use Aveda.

They're pretty good, I have the phytojoba or something mask and the shampoo...and the phytodefrisant (omg now that is some stuff right there!).

I like the shampoo and mask but won't die once it runs out, but it's good! My hair feels good afterwards.

Cracking up at you about to beat down ole girl in Sephora :lachen::lachen:

Lol!!! I was having a day with her!

Yall know what?...i haven't opened those packs yet.

I got the shampoos and masks for both nourishing and for moisture. One of the lines is the Phytojoba...the other one is Phyto something....i forgot.

When i think to use them...i get exhausted just thinking about having to press all the product out of those little packs...in the shower.

My attention span has been suffering lately so...if anything comes in a squeezable bottle...i am game! Lol

I will get around to trying them soon tho u guys.

I used to love Phyto back in the day - like early 2000s when I was heat styling my hair.

I've been eyeballing their Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm for a future blow out.

I have not used other Phyto products regularly, and the shampoo and conditioner did not impress me, but I have used this for [my infrequent] heat styling for the past 9-ish years, and it always seems to work very well. Best combination for straightening that lasted a while was Phytodefrisant + Sabino Moisture Block + Maxiglide. It also worked alone with just a blow dryer, though that does not last as long. However, when I use it without heat, it pretty much does nothing.

Lol, that rep was about to get represented. :lachen: I like the line, got it from the product exchange. The mask came in a small container, so I guess they expect us to just use a little. Too expensive, my hair is just fine with home made and blue magic.

Mmkay...so i tried the tried the Phytojoba line of the packets i received. And just like you all said...they are nice but not a huge whoopty doo.

The shampoo was nice...it didn't leave my hair stripped...but soft. It kinda smelled like yogurt.

I liked the masque tho...it smelled like lemons and left my hair with that healthy, lush softness. :)
