anybody tried gvp joico kpak

i was in sally's yesterday and i saw the gvp version of joico's kpak. i was so tempted to try it but i might just settle and buy the real thing if its no good. anybody picked it up yet

I purchased this on sale this month at Sally's, but I haven't given it much of a try. I am not sure how I will include it in my rotation. I think it has too much protein to use as my daily co-wash, but I am not certain.

I purchased it because I needed a 3rd item for the sale and had heard good things about joico.

yes yes yes i was all up in that sale lol. i didnt really need anything for myself so i got a breakage treatment for my sisters...and one of the moisturizing shampoos and for my third item i picked the gvp chil silk infusion i've heard some mixed reviews about it so im gonna give it a try this weekend

I used it as a pre poo once. It was good, strengthened nicely, but there was nothing fantastic about it. I gave it away

I been using it for about 2 months and love it. It actually has me wanting to give the real thing a chance, but I'm gonna wait until Trade Secrets has a sale lol.

I just got some today, but have not tried it yet so cant comment, but it got really good reviews over at makeup alley. I use the Joico, but cant afford it so hopefully it works as good as the real thing.

Also its probably only good to use once a week since it is protein, not everyday as a cowash.

I'm the same way. I bought a bottle like 2 months ago and still haven't cracked it open. I've been doing homemade protein treatments but when I use up the rest of my yogurt I'll go back and try this. I have the real stuff and like it as a mild-moderate protein treatment. I also mix it with my DC if I want a touch of protein but don't want/need to do a full protein treatment. The real one has a nice scent as well.
