Anybody thought of doing something buck wild with their hair?

I know the goal on this forum is to achieve healthy,long hair but does anyone ever get the urge to do something really drastic? Well, I do. I have a round face and I really think I would look cute with my hair cut really short. Example- Remember on Waiting to Exhale when Angela Bassett cut all of her hair off? I love that tapered short hair look and I have been considering getting it like that. I figure I only live once and if I don't like it, it will grow back and I can grow my relaxer out if I don't like it. My SO supports me (had to see what he thought first) and he thinks I will look cute,too Anyone else?

WOW!! NETTA, you are the bomb!! I've never worn a wig before and this is a good idea. Good looking out,girl. This way I can avoid tears and frustration on a hair style gone bad!

Yes I have! Because I wanna go natural I have seriously considered two things:

1. Cut ALL of my hair off and wear a TWA, but it would be a TTWA (teeny teeny weeny afro)

2. Just wetting my hair and wearing it wild and wavy. Only because it's so coily and tight in some parts where it's texturized, from where my last relaxer didn't straighten it would kinda look like a smaller version of Nadia's fro from American Idol.

Both choices would be a very drastic change for me.

I thought of getting the Halle in Boomerang hair cut, then I came to grips with reality & decided on the wig instead! (I hope to get it this month!)

Well normally the synthetic wigs are cheaper than the human hair wigs; but then again I think it depends on the style. Now you don't have to get this particular wig I'm sure there are other nice short wigs out there that are less expensive and they look just as good :0).

I have thought about cutting my hair short into a cute hair style like a Halle Berry cute or like Eva. But I don't think I would be able to stand short hair.

If I were you, I would get a wig that has a short hair style and wear it to see how you like wearing your hair short.

Get the wig. I have had the urges to cut and given in and regretted it everytime. With a wig you can have the best of both worlds.

I've thought about a mohawk too! Like the cute little one that Naima (i think that's her name?) from America's next top model. That style is too cute. If i were brave enough to wear it, I'd color my hair a deep shade of plum to make it stand out even more.

Well...I've already done it!

I cut all my hair about 2 weeks ago. It's just long enough to bump with the smallest curlers. It's really short and reeeally spikey all over. All I have to do is moisturize and go; no combing at all!!! I LOVE it!!!
