Anybody here ever taken a turn for the worst?

I'm struggling and in a bad place right now. The thing is I started off being solid, grounded and on fire for Christ and when I hit my 30's it all went down hill and I can't seem to go back uphill. I'm even doing stupid things like questioning whether Christianity is real. I've also gotten into new age stuff. I still pray to God but I just can't get myself back on track. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I feel odd about it because it seems like it's happened to me so late in life. It's like the reverse or something. Like most people start off not knowing Christ but find him but for me it's like I knew him but lost him.

Next throw away all books and items related to new age and occult practices. God can't deliver you unless you turn from that stuff. It can, but there is nothing that the Lord cannot deliver you from when you simply surrender and when you want him above all all else. He will become more and more real the closer you get to Him.

Girl we are in the times where the battle will get more intense. You will be questioning anyone and anything! God is gently nudging you to seek him , and that's why you were lead to post this new thread. God is not of Confusion. Just pray and seek answers and he will gladly answer you. You can't lose Christ. Neither can anyone take you from Him. Try as he might the enemy is not succeeding.

Why? Because you are posting here. You know where home is and are trying to get back.

The more you focus on beating yourself up the less you will see the right path. You've confessed. Now repent. Turn away from the junk and walk on the nice clean road.

If you slip off the road, get back up and back on it. Kinda like a toddler. They don't stop trying to walk or run just because they fall down 10 times a day.

Nor do they dwell on the fall they made early that morning.

So imagine yourself taking the hand of Christ as he helps you back on the road with the rest of His flock.

Wow, I hadn't even read your post before responding, yet we both said repent. And you're right that stuff is very serious.
