Does it really help the hair dry faster?

I've never heard of it. Is there a website that sells it?

Where did you hear about it Tee?

My hair holds a lot of water too.

My friend's sister is a manager at BB&B....I'll ask her if they are any good...

Tee,

I think one of our moderators has this towel, Lady SVT...Such A Vibrant Thing:) When I asked her about it, her verdict was not final, so I would like to know.

I have been tempted myself, but I pretty much stick with those thick Royal Velvet towels. I use a number of these and they are awesome.

I use this towel that was given as a gift, and it does dry the hair faster if you use a super-absorbant one. HTH

Hey Jade!

Yeah I have an Aquis Super Absorbent towel. It's okay. It's very similar to a chamois used to dry cars without streaking.

What I don't like about this towel is that it seems a little too absorbent. It's drying to my hands and nails and I don't like to use it on my ends for very long. Mainly I use it as a drip towel: I drape it around my shoulders to catch any droplets then briefly use it to scrunch-dry my hair. It's overpriced IMO.

I like this towel. When I exit the shower I wrap it around my head. By the time I get dried off and dressed, my hair is relieved of the excess water and drippage... especially if I decide to wash box braids. I tend to use a lot of leave-ins and moisturizing sprays so the fact that I get rid of excess drippage is wonderful! I got mine off of eBay! I hate paying full price!

Sounds like a good gift idea if the price is right. There is a Bed Bath and Beyond near me.

You can get the same type of towel at Wal-Mart. Not in the bath towel section though, you get it in health and beauty near the loofahs, bath pillows, etc. I think it's like $6-$7. Same doggone thing and less than half the price!

Thanks for saying that! I always go to bed with an extremely wet head after washing my braids. I need to get this towel!
