Underprocessed me after performing a strand test and I promptly returned it. You may want to do a search for more reviews.

My hair is quite resistant.

When I was relaxed I loooved it. I used the Olive Oil one I never tried the other one. The ORS Olive Oil always left me under processed, I know lots of ladies love that one. But the Silk Elements Olive Oil no-lye made my hair bone straight honey. And my hair is very coarse.

I have used it faithfully for at least 5 or six years. Never over/underprocessed, straight hair but still has fullness, bounce and volume. I have VERY thick 4 a/b hair. I love it.

My stepmother uses the entire line her hair would be nice if she didn't relax ever 4 weeks:)

I used the original (brown container) when it first came out and I loved it. But after using it a couple of years, it started o burn my scalp. I always would forget and scratch my head but it got to where it would really burn in that spot.

I use it and I love it. It leaves my hair feeling like silk.

I've used SE regular for 6 years. I get straight hair with body. I only burn if I scratch right before relaxing. My hair is coarse with no recognizable curl pattern!

The mild lye relaxer was my staple when I was relaxed. It could get my fine 4b bone straight in less than 12 minutes. I loved that relaxer. I used everything from that line except the neutralizing shampoo.

B_Phlyy I use the mild relaxer and it gets my hair straight also. It seem as if I got the same result as when I use the regular kind (box). I can't find the mild strength in the box so I'm using the brown jar (tub). It is just strange to me that the mild gets my hair so straight. I have 4b hair.

crlsweetie912 Have you tried the mild strength? I'm just looking for differences because I got the same result with both.

I use SE with shea butter and silk protein in mild and I love it. It works fast and my hair was shiny and soft. I overprocessed because I was too slow and my hair didn't fall out. It just sheds normally but those areas were thinner. I will never try anything else.

Silk Elements was my staple relaxer. I used the original no lye version and got straight, silky, shiny hair every time. It was the best relaxer I'd ever used and I used a LOT of them.

I did use the mild...but my hair seemed a little underprocessed. I like my hair bone straight.
I started out with the mild but the regular is perfect for me. And this is from someone who thought for years that anything less than super was sacrilege

Thanks ladies. I will continue to use the mild. My hairdresser is shocked that the mild get my hair straight.
