Any Suggestions on perfecting the summer twistouts?

With so many ladies doing braidouts and twistouts for the coming summer months I thought it would be a good idea to post our do's and don'ts! Can we post our methods, products, etc? It's so funny becuase I usually do rollersets then wrap so my co-workers are used to that style. When I do my midweek wash and then rock the braidout, you should hear the things people say! My white co-workers think I got one of "their" perms (curly perm) and the black people think my hair is a weave or a wig! Go figure...

I have done braidouts on wet hair only, twistouts I have done both wet & dry. If done on wet hair make sure hair is 100% dry before removing braids or twists. The staple products I use are Black n Sassy hot sheen, & Pantene cream oil moisturizer every now and then I may add something else to see if I get a different finish. The pic in my sig was done on dry hair with my 2 staples only.
