any products with minoxidil in it?

I have been on a prescription for 5% minoxidil to help treat my traction alopecia for about 2 years. The minoxidilis def. what I would call a miracle product because it has transformed my hairline completely. I would love to post pictures but I don't have an album anymore (not really prepared to pay for one so fotki is out of the question). Anyway, the treatment is very pricey (£200 for 3 months supply) so I am looking for an alternative product with minoxidil in it. I remember coming across one in a black hair mag but I can't remember the name.

Does anybody know of any?

Rogaine has minoxidil in it, and minoxidil does work. My only problem with it is you will never be able to stop using it once you start. If you do, all your hair you grew with it will fall off. But if one hasn't found anything else they are comfortable with or are afraid to try anything else, I guess one can learn to live w/ using it for the rest of one's life.

ETA: There's also this stuff but I don't know much about it.

BTW, VickiD is an alopecia survivor and I don't think she has to worry about ever losing her hair. She attacked her alopecia using different remedies and the combination seems to have worked for her. Perhaps send her a PM if you're interested in learning of other ways to rid yourself of alopecia w/o becoming a slave to minoxidil.

I heard the same thing about using minoxidil as well. Have you thought of using something other than the minoxidil. I have seen alot of alopecia threads floating around her lately.
