Any motions users?

I have heard that motions has gotten the name for not being a good relaxer. I self-realxed the lst time with the new moisturizing formula. I call my stylist today for a realxer appointment. They use only affirm and I told him I wanted to use motions.

He says, that he doesn't like motions but if I want to bring it I can. I like motions because it gives my semi-thin hair some volume. It isn't bone straight like a lot of them. For those who use it, what results have you been left with? I know alot of women use affirm but I was told that it doesn't do much for added volume for thin hair.

i used to use motions when i was younger and first started self relaxing. it didnt do anything spectacular. its a decent relaxer . i had stopped using it altogether because i had switched to the salon herbals version of it :nono: did not agree with my hair at all. i then switched back to the regular only to see that it didnt make my hair straight like it once used to  affirm is a good relaxer , but you may need mild since your hair is thin

I use motions mild relaxer and I love it and have great results, I used affirm relaxer as well, it did get my hair straight, however it was a bit too strong for my hair . Many people dislike motions but it works for me so :ohwell:.. I should be their hair model  I use the products for medium to coarse hair which contains lots and lots of moisturizing agents....

ITA with everything, including using affirm for a while. I've even tried phyto II twice, and came back to motions. I'm kinda glad my hair likes a cheap relaxer . . .:yep:
