Any Indian stores in Baltimore?

Anyone know of any? I'm not in the city but I'll go if there's a store. Just trying to avoid shipping charges.

Where are you? You really don't have to go into the city. I know of one in Catonsville (Patel Brothers) and Columbia (Desi Bazaar). I am sure there are other's, as well.

I was going to check Patel Brothers out a while back but I never got around to it. Do they have most of the popular Indian items(on LHCF) in stock. Are their products expired? I'm scared of buying a box from 1997

Honestly none of those stores have all the things that have recently become popular on the board. I can get my favorite henna and Vatika oil, but I really don't see all the other stuff. I have not been to patel in a while so i think it is worth checking out.

Would be the closest to me. Actually tomorrow I'm going to that big Asian store on Rt 40 near Catonsville. Last time I was there was over five years ago and had a lot of Korean stuff but since I'm going there for something else I'll check to see if they have any Indian stuff. Fingers crossed.

there's also a store on harford road right near the 695 on/off ramp. i got some henna, amla and shikaiki (sp?) oil from there before.
