I have the world's best paddle brushe and it doesn't take my hair out. It's by Sephora and I basically do everything with it. I use it as a weave brush, I use it to wrap my hair and during blowdrying. It works wonders for me! I bought it online at amazon.com for like 35$ with shipping & handling included. It's a little pricey, but worth it.

I have a Sedu Paddle Brush and I bought it from folica.com as part of a set for 40 dollars. It works well for my hair and my college roommates.

Just want to warn against the Denman paddle brush.

Not good for detangling, pulled my hair out from the roots, but since I bought it I use it sometimes after detangling and as a "chaser" while flatironing (instead of a comb).
