ANY Good Braiders in DMV area?

HEY ALL
I'm want to get some braids to cover up my hair and i'm in serious need of a good braider in the DMV area especially one that can do tree braids... Does anyone have info or a lead to a good braider who does this?? i've been searching but i have really come up short... and i do do my own braids most of the time but i know for certain i cannot do tree braids on my own hair.. i'm scared to think what it would look like if i tried lol

I've been trying to look for you, but I can't find one.
I went to get my hair braided one time while I was here. It was in MD, and I was NOT happy. They braided my hair entirely too tight and I had hair loss. I would NOT recommend anyone to them. Can't remember where they were located at, though. Dang.

I've also never seen them do treebraids. It's VERY hard to find treebraids in this area (IMO). I just put them in myself one day and called it a day. I didn't keep them in very long, but they did the trick.

I know this woman used to do them, but based on her Fotki, she doesn't do them that often.
She may be able to help you find someone who does do them, though.

ooh thanks... i'll follow up on her and see where it leads me.. (fingers crossed!)
