I wear sew in weaves a lot and unfortunately my hair in the front that is left out does seem to grow there fore I need something that can hold hair doen and doesnt flake up. I dont like spritz.
thank for the responses.

I use a spray bottle with water mixed with a setting lotion like lottabody for hold. I tie it down my satin scarf to set it for a few mins and thats it!

How 'bout mousse? I use Charles Worthington, or Samy (both are body building types for my hair) but they make other kinds of mousse, like for straight styles, curly, etc. The mousse I find holds styles very well, doesn't flake, and isn't sticky

TRY ELASTA QP GLAZE

I like this. I bought and tried it last week for the first time (read about it on the board and seen it in Essence) and vowed not to go back to gel. What I like about it is that it doesn't make my hair hard or dry but it does hold. It also conditions and shines my hair nicely. I like it alot better than Let's Jam also. Nice alternative in my opinion.

ITA Elasta QP Glaze doesn't flake and doesn't harden the hair either. :)

There's also no buildup. I love it. A friend suggested it to me years ago and I never used it until recently
