To get to light brown next time you can just use a high level developer with your color to be on the safe side just my two cents

This is excellent color for natural dark hair (Hair that has not been dyed darker than medium brown or about level 5). Natural ladies use 30 vol peroxide and relaxed ladies can use 20 vol per the instructions.

I've only experimented w steaks & bleach.
the skinny streaks from the frost & tip kit.....
if my broke off it was so thin I didn't notice.....

that's the only amount of bleach I will try......

when I get gray. I will go w blue black on the grays or a copper color....
