Anti-perspirants block your pores so I do not think I would try that on my scalp. Are you concerned about sweating when working out?

I wouldn't do it.

But if you tried it, I don't think it would be such a horrible thing. I know some guys who use spray-on antiperspirant on their scalps, and it works for them. But they're bald. I don't know how it would work for people with hair.

I have a sweaty scalp but I have never thought about put anti-perspirant on my head. I don't think you should do it.

The second I saw this title my scalp was like :nono: :burning:

Anti-perspirants clog pores... Which in turn will slow down hair growth.

You been here since 2006? Hey, they put coochie cream and everything else on the scalp so why not? Try it and report back, I won't be doing it.

OP I sweat A LOT and I workout 5 times a week. Have you tried co washing?
What is your bit concerns with the sweating? Smell? Hygiene? Style?
You could also rub your scalp with witch hazel.

:yep: I put it in my hair every summer. It took me a while to reach APL but ma hurrs is flowin!! All the naturals at the gym get jealous when ma hurrs don't revert.

I don't think this is a good idea. It would probably clog your pores and irritate your scalp.

Are you concerned with sweat during workouts? It is inevitable.

I think co-washing would be the way to go with you.

This is the one I use:

First you need to part your hair into four (or as many as you desire) sections. Then you rub your fingers on the antiperspirant and let it get warmed up in your hands. After it's warm and smooth just start rubbing it in. I've also found out that it works wonders in slicking down my baby hurrs. Have fun making other naturals souls burn when yo hurr doesn't revert.

Man, you playin'. We all know that deodorant marketed to men tends to have a more powerful anti-perspirant. You need to get that good-good Mitchum or Old Spice or Speedstick.
