Another Pray request for one of our members...

GodsPromises

The Credit Countess
I am here standing in behalf of one of our members "Elaine", she doesn't post much but I meant her on here and we have become very good friends offline.

The Lord told me (because I hate to say something told me, when I know that it was all God), to call her this morning and I am so glad that I listened. Her father was on a venterler after having a stoke and a seizure and there was nothing else for them to do but make him comformable. She was not in the town where he was and was waiting for a friend to drive her to her hometown. Elaine is diabetic and had not eaten and her sugar was up and her pressure.

Just now she had her friend to call me, her father passed two hours ago and she is in the emergency room because she went into shock with her sugar and her pressure is very hight. I prayed with her by phone this morning but I am just asking that we as a family keep her in prayer.

She is probably going to kill me for posting this but it needs to be posted. She needs all of the prayers she can get right now.

You're a true friend. We are praying right now for her.

Hey Anky,

I was thinking about you the other day ( the anniversity of Katina) how are you doing and how is the business.

LadyR, you truly are a good friend. She wasn't able to post because of her situation. Your love for her has 'stood in the gap.'

I will also keep her in prayer. One of my closest friends (as my sister) is named, Elaine. In my heart, your friend will be as my friend and sister, too; just as you are. ;)

With all my heart...

I want to personally thank all of you for your prayers. I used to tell people I knew what they were going thru, but until this past weekend I didn't. My dad's funeral is tomorrow and my family has been so stressed out. I want to take this time to tell anyone who is reading this the following;

1. Spend time with your loved ones, cause when they are gone, they are gone.

2. Make sure that you have a power of attorney, a living will, special instructions in case something unfortunate happens.

3. Be aware that your loved one has an insurance policy. My dad was relying on his VA benefits to cover the cost, and our family is only receiving about $600.00 in assistance. The funeral will be over $5000.00 in which half had to be paid immediately to start the services.

4. Please continue to keep me in your prayers. My blood sugar was over 300
when the doctors pronounced that my father had died. My blood pressure
was 160/110 and I don't suffer from high blood pressure at all.

5. If you have diabetes or any other disease, please continue to do what your physician tells you to do and PLEASE EXERCISE. Many of us as African-American Women are suffering from different disease that can be controlled with diet and exercise. If this means you have to park your car further at the grocercy store to get exercise, then DO IT!!!

Again thank you guys for the prayers. I really appreciate it

I know how difficult a time you're going through, elaine. May the Lord keep you and cover you during this very difficult time! I will be lifting you up in prayer. Blessings to you, sweetie. :rosebud:

Elaine,

The Word of God tells us, "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal."

How priceless it is to know that He knows just how much we can bear.

I have and will continue to pray for you and your family.

(((((((((((Elaine)))))))))))))) God bless you and your family. Thanks for the advice. I need to keep that first one in mind since I live far from them.

I know I'm late, but Elaine you and your family are in my prayers and thanks LadyR for requesting prayer in the time of need.

I love you for that myself. What a friend.
