Hey yall.
For all those that are still looking for a good flat iron, I just wanted to say that I yet another HUGE fan on the maxi glide.
Once you know how to use it, it works very well even if your hair is not relaxed.
I washed, conditioned, moisturized with Elasta QP Recovery, brushed with my Goody brush and allowed to airdry. I then used Beyond the Zone Turn up the Heat Heat protectant and Ultra Sheen Creme Press and flat ironed small sections at a time. I usually went over the sections twice. It worked very fast and my hair was straighter than I've ever had it non relaxed. I have pretty short/medium length hair layered(back not to my shoulders yet front just to cheek) and the size of the iron was not a big issue. I'd like to be a little smaller but it's really not a problem and because it's big i get my hair done faster.
Well that's my two cents. Thanks to everyone that suggested it!
