Hi ladies I just joined the site about 2 weeks ago and already I have learned very valuable information and I love the supportivness of this community. I don't have a hair care regimine yet because i am looking for something to really help my hair because I have constant shedding and breakage. I would really appreciate some hair care regimines from members who have got their hair back to health. Or a thread to a similar question.

Girl, your hair looks good already! However, I do understand your desire to maintain/improve your regime. Feel free to checkout my album. I went from relaxed & damaged to healthy and natural.

Welcome, and enjoy your time here!

HI!

You can try using a protein treatment for the shedding when you do your deep conditioning. When I was first starting out, I would condition wash every 2-3 days and deep condition once a week with a light protein treatment such as Organic Root Stimulator (ORS). I would also use a hardcore protein such as Aphogee or Nexxus Emergencee once a month. Other than that, I baggied and kept my hair tucked away in a phony pony or protective style such as braids, weaves, etc. HTH!

Welcome!

There are so many products to try. Start out w/ a good moisturizing shampoo & conditioner. A daily moisturizer & a light protein. There are also products listed in my album. When I was a newbie, I would check albums of those w/ hair similar to mine and go from there.

Good luck & happy growing!

Welcome :) Your hair is beautiful. The easiest thing you can add to your routine is a weekly deep conditioning w/ a protein. I do not know how often you wash your hair or want to because that may require additional styling/manipulation, but co washing (washing the hair during the week with conditioner only) may be beneficial too. Check out some of the threads on CO washing or DC'ing. There you can see what people are doing, and may see their fotki pics or listed regimines. Welcome again and I wish you much success on your hair journey.
