my hair dont flip :S - well only unless i make it flip..maybe yours flips cos it has a natural kink

That happens when it is weighed down. If you don't have much product in it, it will swing and move........

when there is a lot new growth it might not lay down or if you use heavy products it won't swing.

well, some of it. I don't know. I've seen a lot of people with this problem, and I think tht some of it is product, but I don't wonder if it isn't something else.

If I bend my head down, it dosen't come to rest on myt back. weird.

Yeah I definately think that a weigh down issue, I had that problem but only when my hair was about shoulder length. Im guessing because the hair is heavier as it gets longer.

Mine is doing this now, not only does it flip up but to the left , to the right....everyway but down.

When your hair has body it lays down, even neck length.....when it's all gooked up it sticks and holds together......

This morning my hair stopped doing it. I think that some of it did have to do with product, but I've seen people whose hair just does it, esp. when it is back in a ponytail.

Mine does this too and I can't stand it! When I wear a ponytail I spend most of my time obsessing about getting it to look "straight"!!! Then I get fed up and put it back in a bun - which is the cause of the annoying flip in the first place! :ohwell:
