I am 7 months post, type 4a, currently PSing with a bun or phony pony. I have been looking for something that would slick my edges nicely. I tried the Fantasia Gel and the green Ecostyler Gel. Both are okay and do a decent job. But I pulled out my Macadamia Fixing gel, which I've had a while. With the gels, I always dampen at night with water or spray leave-in, add the gel, brush with a soft brush then tie a scarf around the edges. I am most pleased with the results from the Macadamia Fixing gel and it's not crunchy hard either (neither are the other two gels).
