Ampro Pressing Oil

My mom pressed my sister's hair with this stuff and her hair turned out great

It looks like she had a relaxer. She has EXTREMELY thick type 4b? hair and usually when my mom presses it, it's still poofy

But not with this stuff, her hair was so sleek and shiney I started to get jealous

But, it did make me start to reconsider going natural since perms don't seem to be cutting it anymore

Anywho, just thought I'd share with those who press and curl

Here's what it looks like:
Ampro Pressing Oil

Isn't it interesting that the instructions for use specifically state: "apply to towel-dried hair (covering all strands) and press"?

Just thought it was interesting considering the revelations/recent posts about flat-ironing wet hair...

Hmmmm, that is interesting. I wonder if my mom followed the directions or if she used it on dry hair. Either way, that stuff really works!!

When I was a child, my mother used Ampro pressing oil when she pressed my hair. It came in a blue and white metal container.

I think that's Apex Pressing Oil. My aunt still uses it.
