The lite version is just what it says in the name: "lite." It's not as heavy as the regular Amla and the smell also is a lot better. In addition to this, there is Shikakai in the Amla Lite version.

What she said...and the Amla oil can be used for overnight treatments, but some people do put it in their hair everyday, but I prefer to use Amla Lite everyday because it smells better and is much lighter. HTH!
