could someone tell me whats with their hair,i know beyonce wears a weave or something sometimes,but what does her real hair look like????and amerie...whats her secret???

beyonces hair is well...a hot mess.It is hard to tell what her natural hair looks like cuz she does wear a lot of pieces. Although she has this one nice cover photo on ebony where her hair looks pretty good. Now amerie, first of all, shes multiracial so she has sort of like a fine texture to it so its not that thick or coarse as a typical african american's hair. I read that she achieves fullness with roller sets and uses Biolage products.She doesnt use a lot of oil because too much oil can make a person with fine hair look greasy and weighed down/limp.

What is Amerie biracial background? I must admit that she took a beautiful picture in the November edition of Black Sophisticates magazine.

Amerie is Asian (I think her mom is Korean?) and AA. I don't think the typical AA's hair is coarse, though. All the books I've read by AA authors identify typical AA hair (e.g., Andre Walker's Type 3b or Type 4a, 4b) as fine and fragile. HTH

She went natural and cut off her relaxed ends last year. She transitioned with braids and weaves. I read an article where her mom stated that.

someone had a pic of beyonce at the houston premiere of fighting temptaions a few weeks back (do a search for beyonce and youll see a whole lot of topics about her and her hair) and the front looked like her real hair but not that pic with her and jayz, it looks like a wavy weave, i had one in my own hair not too long ago.

for a second i thought the braids pic was solange

If you look at her braids, you can clearly see where her hair ends. The other picture is indeed a wavy weave.

Amerie's mom is Korean and her dad is AA. Also, I don't think she wears extensions. We went to the same college and she's always had a head full of healthy hair.

Yup her mom is of Asian descent and her dad is Trinidadian

Amerie does have beautiful hair but her stylist does add pieces for ADDED length and volume. it is show business.

Actually, the length of Amerie's hair is hers. She has worn clip in pieces to protect her hair during photoshoots. But 98% of the hair is hers. Her racial background is Korean and AA...her dad is from SC.
