Am I The Only One?

Actually that's the reason why I started washing my hair so often. I used to wash once a week or once every 2 weeks, then I developed that problem with itchy burning scalp that starts to flake after 4 days without washing.

I think it has something to do with your scalp producing too much sebum which is can cause your scalp to itch and flake.

I was trying to switch to washing once a week but I cant make it more than 3 or 4 days either. Maybe it is psychological....I dunno. In the summer I HAD to have water running on my scalp at least every 2 to 3 days and sometimes every day lol. I loved having a nice clean scalp. It felt nice and cool and it never itched.

I was like that too...there was always these two spots in particular on my scalp that would itch like crazy, the skin would actually form like plaques and scabs..........gladly the problem stopped and think it's because of the Sulfur 8...I mean the one spot in the back actually started to just feel like it was a bald spot...Sulfur 8 did really help. I massaged it in nightly and massage...occasionally doing the whole head baggy with conditioner. I used to be able to pinpoint the spot exactly, but I don't feel it anymore, or the plaques/scabs. they haven't recurred either (thank God). I used to literally comb out the scabs with a fine-toothed comb!

My mother gets sores and she actually has a prescripton of Nizoral. If she goes to the hair salon, she takes that. Her forehead gets really bad too.

I used to have the exact same problem but ever since i got brids I have been able to go a week without washing sometimes 2. In the summer though I have to wash my hair atleast every other day. It also has to do with wether or not I'm working out on the regular. If my head sweats I have to wash it.
