Am I the only one who hates the feel of S-curl?

Dont get me wrong, it's a wonderful moisturizer. But when I spray this stuff it gets all on my neck and it feels oily. When I touch my hair, my fingers get greasy and sticky. Just a yucky feeling. This is the only thing that moisturizes my hair though. I need to moisturize my hair daily because it dries out quickly, but when I put this on, I feel so dirty. I cant imagine using this in the summer. Sweat+S-curl.

now the smell, isn't the greatest but I can stomache it. What moisturizer do you use?

I am with you about the way s curl feels!!!!! I've tried using it myself many times but can't stand the way it feels. Another product that I use is Hawiian Silky 14 n 1. It is similar to s curl but feels better on my natural hair. It definately moisturizes my hair though. I just have to wash it more often. That is the only other moist. I can think of that is in comparison with s curl. If you or anyone eles knows of another that does'nt feel gummy, I am more than open to suggestions.

Ditto on the HS 14 and 1. I like to use Worlds of Curls moisturizer too.

I didn't like S Curl either. I like creamy moisturizers but I mostly use a distilled water/ aloe vera gel/ dab of conditioner mix.

Hated it, I dont know if its the glycerin that makes it so sticky and the smell gives me jheri curl flashbacks.

Try dilluting half s-curl and half water in another spray bottle to see if it works better that way.

I hate it. My hair hates it!!

In the past 8 years, I have bought the stuff on maybe 4 different occasions because of all the raves about it, and after using it just once, my hair feels so sticky and gummy I end up throwing away the bottle after it sits unused for months.

In fact I threw it out my bathroom cabinet 2 days ago, and I swore to never buy it again...

My hate S-Curl,infact it makes my hair dry instead of moisturizing.
I use Sta-Soft-Fro and it work great on my hair and keeps it moisturized.
