S-Curl the cause of Breakage?

Hi everyone...I have recently started using S-Curl as a moisturizer before I put my hair in my daily bun. I thought it was going well, but you can imagine my surprise this morning as I finger combed my hair. I had a ton of breakage today, and they were not short pieces. They were very long with no bulb at the end. I thought it was shed hair, but it wasn't. I really don't know what the cause of this intense breakage is. Has anyone else had trouble with S-Curl?

I have NOT used S-Curl before (I don't like the smell) but I did notice when I was in teh bss sniffing the various curl activators that some have protein. Maybe that could have caused your breakage; too much protein.

Some people's hair seems to hate the glycerin.

I haven't used S-Curl but I noticed the same thing when I used Sta-Sof-Fro.

I definitely think that it's the cause of my breakage. I stopped using it because I was experiencing more breakage than before I started using it.

I haven't had a problem with it. I guess it doesn't agree with your hair. Everything isn't for everyone.
