Hey ladies,
As I'm sure many of you know I am on a quest to find the right Dominican product for my hair. having said that, I did some research on ingredients and I'm not too sure I want the same ingredients used in coolants on my hair!erplexed
proplyne glycol:
1,4-Dioxane is primarily used in solvent applications for the manufacturing sector; however, it is also found in fumigants and automotive coolant. Additionally, the chemical is also used as a foaming agent and appears as an accidental byproduct of the ethoxylation[1] process in cosmetics manufacturing. It may contaminate cosmetics and personal care products such as deodorants, shampoos, toothpastes and mouthwashes.[2]
I notice simliar issues in Silicon and Miss Key ingredients. Perhaps there isn't enough of these "harmful" ingredients to pose any serious danger on its user...but how can we know for sure?
