I see some people have been directed to the newbie thread and this would also apply to me. However, I don't really know what I'm looking for. Is there a specific thread that has "NEWBIE" written on it? Did I just miss it or am I going blind? Please help me out here. TIA

By the way, right now I'm trying to find what are the best oils for moisturizing.

In my opinion, oils don't moisturize. They are best for sealing the hair shaft. Therefore, you would need water or a water based moisturizer on your hair first before applying the oil to seal the moisture in. Hope that helps.
