I have been consistently following a co-wash, MTG routine for the past three weeks the t-shirt picture is Jan 1, 2008 the other was last night. Am I imagining things or it that growth?? erplexed

Hehehe that's not your imagination. The center definately looks like its filling in at the back. Looks good. Be sure to watch out for breakage towards the back!
