I hate this SL/APL limbo stage. I'm there wet, but my hair shrivels right back to SL when dry

OK my honest opinion about all of these threads.. If you think you are SL, APL, BSL, MBL, WL claim it. When people post pics and somebody has to say oh well you need an 1/8th of inch.. WHO THE HECK CAN TELL if you need an 1/8 of an inch or an inch or 1/2 inch.. that's basically there IMO.

I say....YES! Trust me I've seen some people claiming lengths when only a few strands are touching it. You are at the tip of APL...not full APL but yes...you ARE APL! I understand that some are saying in a few inches but by the looks of your picture...1-2 inches will put you between APL and BSL.

Co-sign. A true length shot again, IMO is if the person is freshly relaxed or pressed. It's a matter of perception. My APL is going to be when my tail "V" hits the top of my armpit. It could literally take a person months to get to full APL..especially if they are layered. But trust I won't be asking anybody. But to each their own.
