Hey ladies! well, im getting ready to relax my hair and afterwards I am planning on using bigen. Is it okay to use bigen after a relaxer? I was reading a few threads and some said it was okay, and others said wait a week. I plan on doing a strand test before I apply to my whole head, just in case I am allergic to anything in it. Any tips are appreciated. thanks!

I used it before without a problem right after a relaxer.

thanks tiff. did you mix it with conditioner? i hope theres directions inside the box. I have no idea how much water to put in it.

You mix it with water til it reaches a liquidy consistency. I deep condition afterward. I can't remember if the box had directions...

Exactly!! I use to use it without a problem. The last two times that I've used it, it seemed to be the cause of breakage. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I use it all the time right after I relax. I never had a problem with it. There is instructions in the box, along with a lil measuring cup.

I use bigen one week after I relax. I mix it with water and condish. Make sure you deep con after.
