I'm always looking for the best value when I'm ordering my products. I know you ladies have found great deals on Shea Butter. Please list your vendors, prices and any discount codes you take advantage of.

Here's mine to start:

Bulk Unrefined, Raw West African Shea Butter
$9.95 per lb (ongoing special: buy two get one free)
3 1 lb containers = 48 oz for $19.90 = $0.42 per oz
Shipping is about $8
Cost per oz w/ shipping: $0.58

Speaking of shea butter. My hair and scalp love love love Nasabb's Shea Butter. When I was natural, I didn't notice any difference, but my relaxed hair loves this stuff. I melts into my scalp, without any greasy or oily substance. I have to research my LHCF sister who recommended this product. I am a product junkie, but this stuff is GREAT..........

i know there was a scandal with this shea butter - it wasn't pure, there was something added to it, though i don't remember what.

eta: nvm. the jars just look the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmwXjZTWNFE but the labels say the same thing. i wouldn't trust it.

I've only ordered from sheabutterhut.com, and I always try and do it during that deal. The quality is excellent, and the price is right (esp. with the free tub).

I don't trust the quality of of shea that is 32 oz. for only $10. I think good shea butter would be double that.
