Hi ladies,

My friends and I want to try the Curly Pudding for our daughters, but we don't want to pay the price. Got any alternatives? TIA

i read somewhere online a combo of curl activator plus aloe vera gel plus an essential oil made a good curly pudding. i have never tried it myself and she/he didn't give measurements on how much of each to add. maybe she/he did it by eye and consistency. sounds uber-gooey to me.

I have read that Fantasia IC Gel with Sparkelites which works miracles for me, but I have never tried curly pudding so I can't say it is just as good.

Loreal's Nature's Therapy is Excellent for this and..you can use it if your hair is relaxed, which mine now is ( i need to change my siggy). It is best used on damp hair after a deep conditioner, use Fantasia's IC Frizz Buster for shine and frizz control and then part the hair in 4 sections and use the Nature Therapy for curls. Scrunch every 3 minutes for 15 minutes and then leave it alone. You will have curls better than Curly Pudding ever can have; I'm wearing a wet and curly now. If I had a camera, I would take pics of it. See below for description:

i cant stand fantasia IC with sparklelites. i just bought some and maybe i dont know what im doing, but i cant stand the residue it leaves once its dry. it just feels weird

anywho, i just bought the whipped cream by Curls (curls.biz) that i read about on motowngirl.com. ive read on this board that its better than the curl pudding stuff... its worth a shot
