LOVE THIS CONDITIONER ! :blush3: If you are looking to purchase, It would definitely be worth it to have in your Arenal. I swear by this stuff. It's wonderful.

Yep. That's exactly what I paid for Mine.

Yeah, the garlic treatment is expensive, but worth it. I think I paid $30. I have Alter Ego Cren, but not Herb Ego. Cren keeps my scalp feeling clean all week. I don't know how.

It's suppose to be one of the best for Shedding. However, I didn't purchase it specifically for that.

I just Love Good Conditioners. And It's a Great Conditioner. Not talked about enough. It is Wonderful.

I'd like to possibly try the Cren and something else. I had my eye on something another Alter Ego product (I can't think of it right now) because I was so impressed with the Garlic Treatment, but took my eye off the ball all caught up on this Board with the 50-11 other products.

Oh No...Not at All. It smells good. Like a "Normal" Conditioner. Nothing about it smells..........Garlicky

No Worries. Smells Great.

I Also Love the Nova Care Nourshing Leave-In Conditioner. One of my Favs. I highly recommend this one. And also referenced it in the Best Leave-In's for 2009 Thread.

I'm such a product junkie that I can't decide which one to try first. I'll probably use the Alter Ego, since it's supposed to curb shedding and I'm having some breakage.

You all need to stop and take this down a notch!!! lol! This thread is getting out of control!!! I have been eyeing everything alter ego since I tried the hot oil treament which is a staple now. This is one of the reason why I chose to use the linange system relaxer (made by alter ego)over the mizani.Please stop now I have been thinking about cren for awhile. YeesH! You are are killing me me!!!

I Just Used it Friday Under My Steamer for about an Hour and it Made me want to use it Again. It felt really good.

In another AE Thread someone said it was "too moisturizing" erplexed Couldn't figure that out. I think it just feels good.

Each time I've used it, it has been with a heat source, steamer, heat cap etc.....

i tried it for 4 months straight...no real change. so, i stopped. it is all hype imo.

I think certain things work for some and not for others. It's just expensive trying to find what works for you.

My shedding has been a little more than normal the last few weeks (I keep thinking its the biotin or Folic Acid I'm takingerplexed). Anyway, I may have to try this. I've been using the Alter Ego Hot Oil Treatment for about two weeks and thats done wonders to moisturize my hair.

Alter Ego Garlic DC is definitely one of my staples. It helps reduce shedding and it is a great conditioner overall. I always DC under the dryer with this DC. I think the results are better that way.

I never heard of the Herb Ego, but i love the Garlic treatment. The best thing ever for shedding. I may try the herb ego just because i hear all of their products are good.
