Hi Ladies, I have read so much about Alter Ego from this forum for shedding. However, there are so many to choose from. From your experience which one works for shedding, and please be specific.

I've heard great things about their Garlic Hot Oil treatment. I plan on buying some this week to aid with my current shedding issue. I currently use their liquid drops called Curative Ego Cren. It's good for hair breakage. My hairdresser applies it to my scalp prior to rollersetting. HTH.

Alter Ego checkin' in The hot garlic treatment really helped with my shedding. I used it weekly for 1 month to get it under control and now I use it monthly as a preventative measure. It's very moisturizing and I like the smell

I TOO USE THIS PRODUCT. I BOUGHT IT ABOUT A YEAR AGO AS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A DOMINICAN STYLIST. I BOUGHT IT ALONG WITH APRETENDORA (DOMINICAN PRE-POO). I WAS SUFFERING FROM A LOT OF SHEDDING DUE TO SOME STRONG MEDICATION I WAS TAKING. I STARTED USING THIS AND I DEFINITELY HAVE TO SAY IT IS A KEEPER. IT IS REALLY GOOD FOR SHEDDING. DUE TO THE ALTER EGO BEING A SCALP TX, ONE JAR CAN GO A LONG WAY (WHICH IS ALWAYS A PLUS)

I PUT THE APRETENDORA ON AS A PRE-POO AND LET SIT OVERNIGHT. I WASH MY HAIR. THEN PART BY PART PLACE THE ALTER EGO TX ON MY SCALP AND PUT MY REGULAR ORS REPLENISHING PAK ON THE STRAND. THEN SIT UNDER DRYER. I STARTED NOTICING MY THIN HAIRLINE (FROM TOO-TIGHT BRAIDS) STARTED FILLING IN (CREDIT THIS MAINLY TO APRETENDORA) AND THE SHEDDING DRASTICALLLLLLLY SLOWED DOWN. EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT ON THE MEDICATION ANYMORE (GOD WILLING I WILL NOT HAVE TO GO BACK ON ON IT) I STILL USE THESE PRODUCTS IN MY WEEKLY REGIME.

Been using the Cren also in the green box for about 2 mos. After first application the shedding stopped right away. I now use it every other night on my scalp followed up by EO's to keep from drying out. It has kicked up some faster growth too. But that may also be becuase of all the supplements also, its hard to tell.

So you do not use the shampoo and conditioner just the hot oil treatment and the liquid drops in the green container with yellow writing? I am about to place an order and would like to make sure I am getting the right stuff.

I like the carrot and coconut conditioners. I actually mix all three and have no problem at all detangling my texturized hair in the shower. It makes it real soft. I would love to know more about the drops. ladies please share more!
