How are you ladies using the hot oil treatment?? with heat no heat?? do you apply to your scalp only or all over? the directions said put it on your scalp for 15 minutes....I am used it for the first time last night.. I had to do an emergency hair wash ... I think I put too much product on my hair this week....I put some S-curl yesterday and I must have over done it b/c it just felt really heavy....anyhoo I noticed some shedding so I decided to try it out.....I applied it to my scalp and them rubbed it all over my hair...I put on a plastic cap and went under the dryer

I apply it to my scalp and hair. Then I comb through with a wide tooth comb. I sit under the dryer for about 15-30 minutes. For me, it helps with my shedding for the first few days and then after that I start shedding again. I might try another conditoner to see if I get the same results.

I apply it all over, sometimes using heat. I was using it weekly for about a month and now I just use it as maintenance monthly....
