Alter Ego garlic Conditioner-Shedding

Hey ladies, this conditioner is the BOMB for shedding. I wish I had taken pics but believe me when I say it! I have been using this after every wash. Ran out didn't use it after one of my poos and lost quite a bit more hair. I mean it was noticable. Used it again the following week and had less than half the hair loss. I said LESS than half. It's a keeper albeit expensive!

I've always been interested in this line of products but they are kinda pricey. Good to know that you had great results with them.

I've had the garlic treatment for like 2 years. I wished I would've brought this out of the stash when my hair was severly breaking though! I've always used it when my hair was at it's best. I also have Alter ego Energizing and Rebalancing cream as well as the Horse radish treatment.

Actually, I heard about this product first from the first hair board I signed up with--- blackhairproboards. A couple people there used it. I almost bought a couple weeks ago.

Does it leave your hair hard? My hair gets so tangled sometimes after using protein even after deep conditioning.

I use Alter Ego Revitalizing Leave-In and it's very moisturizing, it has sweet almond oil in it and works great as a detangler. They have a good line.

I know it is pricey as all get out. I make sure I distribute REALLY well!

joyous: Sorry girlfriend, but for me at least this stuff really works! I would say when I ran out I lost anywhere from 100-150 hairs. With it it was more like 20-30! I don't even think I lost that many after using. I didn't count it strand, but it was way minimal! I knew right away what it was too!

hot_pepper96: No it doesn't leave my hair hard at all. keep in mind that I am very, very lightly texted. My sister told me it does not look like I have done anything with the NAPS at all!!


Suri You are relaxed right? I could use a good moisturizer detanglizer. I'm curious about the carrot one too. Suri, could you please be so kind as to post the ingredients? I owe you one. TIA!

Ok so here is what my now broke butt purchased:

Large size of garlic conditioner
Large size of coconut conditioner
Regular size container of Revitalizing conditioner

then I got the activo capillo from Salerm. has anyone tried this?

I won't eat ( low grocery week) , be slim with banging hair! BAM the cost of beauty!

Ok so I better like the other conditioners too cause I will use them till they are gone! I will keep you guys posted.

I thought about purchasing the shampoos, but am unsure as to what the ingredients are. I try to stay away for sodium lauryl and into more natural alternatives. If any of you ladies have any on hand please share your experience

So sorry I missed this early thread. Love it, love it love it! I cannot believe the softness of my roots..I'm a serious ALTER EGO pusher now..the garlic, the coconut..fantastic..I'm deep conditioning right now with it to be followed by the Alter Ego coconut mask. Treat yourself to the small size..money so well spent.
