I use Lily of the Desert AV and whatever glycerin is also at the same grocery store.

When I had kinky twists, I used "Smart/Basics Organic Certified Aloe Vera Juice Unflavored" (from vitacost.com) and "Now Personal Care Vegetable Glycerine 100% Pure." It was an excellent moisturizer.

Lily of the Valley Aloe Vera Juice.... Although it doesn't have to be LOTV, as long as it's food grade, you'll be a-okay :)

I just get my glycerin from my bss

if your grocery store sells Aloe Vera Juice it will be with the heath foods and vitamins etc. not the reg juices. You might find the aloe leaves in produce. If not, I've seen it at Walmart in the pharmacy section near the colon cleansers. :look:

I also use dietary grade from Lily of the Valley. My Glycerine is usually 'NOW' brand. But any vegetable glycerine should be fine so long as it has no additives.
