Has anyone ever tried aloe vera gel as a leave-in conditioner? I was thinking about trying this tonight before I flat iron my hair. (it's a special occasion tomorrow so the heat is allowed- I'm having dinner with the boyfriend and meeting his mother for the first time)

A little FHI Hot Sauce
Lots of Silk Elements heat protectant spray
Wrap with a bit of Hemp Seed Butter as a pomade... Does that sound pretty good?
