beautiful woman and hair!!! Awesome progress. I love color too so I am just loving that blond, and the purple was haute!

I watched another one of your videos, and you said you found your staple products...what are your staple products?

The blow out is very sexy. Do you ever wear that alone?

Sigh my flat irons never come out that straight. Questions..... how hot is your flat iron? I'm assuming that's a Denman you are using no? Is there any risk of long term drying with the keratin treatment?

Great progress and very healthy hair!

I wore my blow out once and I thin I scared some folk:ohwell: I keep getting the "Power to the people" everywhere I went which is NOT what I was going for, lol.

Usually when I flat iron, I only go up to 370, rarely past 400. Yep, that's a modified Denman, otherwise I would be ripping out my hurrs. As far as the drying of the keratin treatment, maybe it's just me, but I'm out of practice with wearing my hair straight in general, so I heap on the moisturizers at first sight of dryness so I'm not sure if it's due to the protein of the fact that my hair is being limited moisture for sake of style. I'll have a better reveiw of the product after I wash and wear it curly.

Ditto to everything everyone else said.... You look like you have and are a fun person OP!!!

Oh and watch out for the weirdos...:look:

your hair looks beautiful and healthy!

I've never colored my hair (as in lifted color, i've only ever done deposits to make it darker or henna) and i've been itching to do so all year (but have been too chicken). Every time i see your hair color(s) i get inspired! Very nice! keep it up!

Thanks for sharing your progress. I BCed 2.5.10 and I think I am almost APL. By my 2 year nappiversary, I believe I should be. I have not straightened my hair ever in the time. I hope I will one day, LOL.

BTW, you are gorgeous. You have beautiful skin and hair.

Wow...hairgasm! I've never had one before! Beautiful hair and great progress!

Lovely progress!

And your flat iron technique reminds me my last stylist. She worked some miracles with a flat iron and a brush!

I love your hair! I watched your vid and was shocked to see that we have a very similar hair texture. I've only seen one other person with hair that looked like mine. Your straight hair reminds me of my hair when it was relaxed. I have yet to figure out the flat iron so I don't know when I'll be able to successfully straighten my hair, but seeing yours gives me an idea of how mine will hopefully look once I do figure it out.

Anyway, beautiful hair, great personality, and I loved your weight loss story as well. I can't wait to see your two year update, and hope to see more videos in the future. You're doing a fantastic job!

OMG... I've NEVER seen that flat-iron technique before... Freakin' Awesome!!! I so want to try that!

You are all kinds of gorgeous! You betta whip those beautiful tresses! *drool-worthy hair*

@Msmchy what dye do you use? Meaning what brand. Sorry I'm asking so many questions. So that Keratin treatment acts as a heat protectant?

I always used stuff from Sally's because I was ascared of the box dyes. I used Ion Color Brillance in 5g as a base color. Then I low lighted in 4a and highlihged in 6a for depth. As far as teh Keratin being a heat protectant, I'm not sure but I'm leaning towards nope. I think the hair needs to be devoid of any product whatsoever so the keratin can bond, but from here on out I will be using my serum. I felt like I was doig something wrong without it:sekret:

Thank you! Slow, and a slight twist at the wrist. I'm not fond of doing more than one pass because I have flash backs of when singed my hair off in high school. *shudders*

WOW!! You and your hair are so freaking pretty!! I love the color! Great progress!! I feel I need to step my own hair game up after watching that video!
