I think I am but I don't want to throw out my wig. Is there something I can do to the hair so it does not irritate my skin? I was think washing it with apple cider but not sure if it would do anything. If anyone knows please chime in. Tia

apple cider viniger removes the alkaline from synthetic hair but i dont know anything about wigs or what it would do to one i use it on my the hair i buy for braiding

Are u allergic as well? Do u know what chemical the apple cider gets rid of?

I am allergic as well.

I dont know what the chemical is but once I started soaking in a solution of apple cidar vinegar and water (taken from the grow afro long website) I NEVER had an itchy head problem again.

Make sure to do it on kanakelon hair. This is what the owner of the site suggest.

I rinse the hair and then spray it with a cone free conditioner (again from the site). It leaves the hair really nice looking.

It was so nice that when I walked out of the salon a woman asked me where I purchased my hair. When I told her what I did, her eyes glazed over:ohwell:

I too am allergic to synthetic hair. I'm unsure what that chemical is but it drives my skin crazy. I tried the soaking but I still broke out around my ears, jaw line, etc. Human hair head for me :yep:
