Y'all know I am kind of a snoot when it comes to drugstore conditioners, but I must say that I took the advice of many of you who stretch and used V05. It really made my new growth manageable, so I am really eating the crow right now. (and it's really fun to use a conditioner that smells so yummy!)

I also have Suave Milk & Honey and Aussie Moist that I am planning to try. Do any of you use those while stretching?

Suave Milk & Honey :lick:

Need I say more...this makes my hair happy. I co wash with it and it smells so yummy!

I swear by V05 conditioners. My hair loves it. I will shout over and over again how I love the strawberries and cream conditioner. It gets my hair soft and smelling so good.

Vo5 conditioners are awesome!!! They allowed me to stretch my texturizer touch up to almost 4 months by using it daily for cowashing and normally I can only stretch to 2 months because my new growth was so unmanageable. It kept my new growth extremely soft compared to when I was only washing once a week.

I'm always the neggie nellie in these threads.
But I have Suave Milk N honey and it doesn't do diddly squat for me. I use it as my pre-relaxing conditioner base for my ends now. A lot of people add things to it to make it work, but I feel like if I can find the conditioner that doesn't need things to be added then I'm good. Plus I'm lazy;) . I also tried Aussie moist reconstructor, along with the poo, and leave-in. Some of the worse stuff that I have ever used.

ITA. I thought I was the only person around who didn't care much for this.

I am in LOVE with cheapie stuff. When I go to restock on hair stuff at the end of this month, I'm racking up on VO5 and Suave conditioners!!!

Conditioners by VO5, Suave and White Rain are definitely my friends! I just looked at my ticker and I'm 7 months into my transition to natural (w/ a heck of a lot of new growth) and it's a breeze to manage. :yay: Those conditioners work superbly for me.

Put me as a third for this one...my hair hated it. It made it stiff for some reason

I am thinking about using the V05 conditioners to use for my cornrows under this lacefront. Most of my conditioners now are so heavy that they dont wash out of braids easily and could cause build up. I am wondering if all the V05 conditioners are the same or are some more moisturizing than others?

I use the Suave Milk & Honey for pre-pooing and I want to try the V05 S&C but trying to get rid of some conditioners first.

I always use the cheapie one for co-washing (Suave Milk and Honey, any scent of VO5, and the DDTA) as well as for doing my deep conditioners. The only diff. is that for the deep cond., I doctor them up a bit! My hair seems to be o.k. with it.

I though I was too and that my hair wasn't right. I have tried the Suaves and the VO5's and they just do nothing for me, even when I did add some essential oils. Oh, well.
