All natural Organic Leave-in Conditioners

Here are some of the ones in my Stash I have tried and they're Good.

With the exception of SheScentIt, all of them are Creamy Leave-Ins.

Alba Botanica Leave-In
Beauty without Cruelty Leave-In
Dr. Bronners Lavender Leave-In
Aubrey Organics Calaguala & Fern Leave -In
SheScentIt Moisture Mist

My fave is Karens body beautiful hair milk

kinky curl knot today. Another great leave in

Giovanni direct leave in. This was good but I haven't used it in so long

another fave of mine is CURLS milkshake

Alba Botanica, (Whole Foods) and Karen's Body Beautiful (on-line) hair milk and hair cream-shea butter base are my fav staples as far as organic natural leave-ins go. The Alba is creamy and absorbs easily into the hair. The KBB hair milk has a thick liquidy consistency; the KBB hair creme (I use it for moisturizing and sealing all in one step)is also great! The creme goes on like a lite liquidy buttery oil when melted in your palms first before application. :lick: So depending on what your hair likes, I highly recommend any or all 3! I hope to try Beauty without Cruelty leave-in next!:yep:

I also used Giovanni Direct Leave In, at this point I'm just trying to get rid of it. There was nothing really wrong with it, I just didn't feel like it did anything for my hair at all. And sometimes it would dry kinda crunchy (which is weird for a moisturizer) but that may be because I put too much in my hair at the time. I guess I want a more creamy leave in that will make my hair feel soft on contact and Giovanni Direct did not do that at all.

Giovanni Direct was my all time fav BUT they've changed the ingredients and packaging. So its not the same. Ive read a lot of ladies who didnt like the old formula love the new one and vice versa. Here is a thread on the Giovanni Direct changes...

Have you tried leaving in your favorite natural conditioner? I love using AO white camelia as a leave in, it's a staple for me. I have also used Nature's gate aloe vera conditioner as a leave in and it's really nice. Qhemet makes some great products as well.

I sitll have some older Giovanni Direct leave in, which I love. Now I'm scared to order more because of the changes. I'll try it and see what happens. I may try Alba too...I've heard good things about them.

I didn't know you could use them as a leave in. I use Aubrey Organics shampoo and conditioner. You leave yours as a leave in due to the lack of chemicals?

I'm in LOVE with Alba Botanica Leave-in conditioner. It's the best leave-in I've ever used, and the only one I can use on both wet and dry hair without it either leaving my hair undermoisturized and dry or greasy looking and clumpy. And it's really thick, so a little goes a long way. I've been using it for about 4 or 5 months now, I believe. Prior to that I was using Giovanni Smooth as Silk and AOHSR as leave-ins. I would use AOHSR as a leave-in on wash days, and spray Giovanni Smooth as Silk on days I didn't wash. A lot of times I had to alternate my days with using them, sometimes even having to re-wet my hair. It was kind of an annoying process because it required to much thinking on my part, lol.

Yes ma'am. AOWC is basically a rich blend of oils. Lots of people use non natural conditioners as leave ins so that made me think, hey just leave in my natural dc and see how I like it... I love it!

I think a few ladies already mentioned the organic leave-in I like and that is the Alba Botanica leave-in. I must admit I had some misgivings about trying an organic leave-in but this one really got the job done, and got it done right. It has a little natural oil in it but it is creamy and light enough not to weigh the hair down. The best part is, a little goes a long way.

Next to this one, I would sometime alternate with Beauty Without Cruelty Leave-in. Now this oe is even lighter than the AB leave-in but I find it has more water weight to it. I sometimes use this one as a detangler on my dry new growth hairs.

These leave-ins are both great not only as leave-ins but they double as daily moisturizers as well. The prices are unbeatable and I get to save on money this way too:yep:. You can look for them on www.vitacost.com for an awesome price.

You're right. Alba Botanica works beautifully as a daily moisturizer. Never tried the BWC one yet. They don't sell that line at the Whole Foods nearest me.
