My stylist uses Salerm silk prtein treatment after a touch up. He's in love w/ it...as he's applying it to my hair, he gets a glazed over look in his eyes and says "Aye...this is such a wonderful conditioner..." (Insert Spanish accent).

I have heard great raves about salerm products also I am having a hard time trying to find it.

I use the serum. I love it......one of my favorites. No - really. A TRUE favorite....

Any serum that obviates the need for a leave in wins me over....

I use Salerm 21 silk protein leave-in after I wash my hair and I use Salerm Wheat Germ Oil deep conditioner (45-60min) a week.

My mom likes the Salerm vials. I think she uses the reconstructor ones or the Salerm vital

I used to use the one in the Green Bottle..you apply to your hair in a lil droplet dispenser..I'm looking for that desperately..

Since I dont perm my hair anymore I'm kinda scared to go back in my old salon to buy the stuff..lol

I know Im crazy..but hey...

there is a bss somewhere on Jamaica Ave, I think it is across the street from Duane Reade and they sell Alfa parf vials.

Some of the BSS on Jamaica Ave, and if you're going to Green Acres Mall, their BSS sells it too. Also, there is a BSS by Queens Blvd that sells it

Thanks Britt and Boadicea for the info on the BSS.

Britt - Is the Duane Reade on Jamaica Ave is close to the subway station and Gertz Mall?

Boadicea, do you know the name of the BSS in Green Acres Mall or what part of the mall is it (near Macy's or Sears)?

TIA!!

Yeah it is

It is next to Sears on the second floor. Go up to the counter, turn your back to it and you should see Salerm products on the first and second (and third?) shelves. The Salerm vials (different kinds) can be found at the end of those shelves.

The BSS on Jamaica Ave that sells Salerm has a yellow awning. I'm sorry I can't remember the name. It's next to the Q25/34 bus stop and the Q65 bus stop. On the corner is the bakery/pizza shop. They also sell other Salerm things beside the leave-in and the vials.

Hi everyone! I purchased the Salerm 21 Silk Protein about a month ago, but I have not used it yet because it does not say anywhere on the bottle whether or not it is a leave-in or a shampoo! In fact, on the back the small writing mentions how it "cleans your hair..."

Does anyone know whether or not the Salerm 21 is a full line (and if so, how do you distinguish one product from the other?) Thank you much for your help!!

It is a leave-in, believe me. I have been using it for years. They have other shampoos and conditioners, though. There is even a brushing spray (which I don't like because it makes my hair feel hard.)

I am not sure if there is a 21 line, but Salerm also has another line of products which I believe is Biokera (??)

Thank you, Boadicea! I didn't want to use it until I was certain... it has green writing on it... Thanks again!!

I look forward to using it! Oh- I'll take a look at the website now!

I use it every time I wash my hair. It provides great slip for detangling and it is an absolute must if you're going to use any heat on your hair. It makes it very shiny and soft and bouncy.

Yes, that's the one. When you open the box, you'll find a squat white tub of deep conditioner with a white and gold label on the front.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I found Salerm, Tropical, Miss Key, Lafier and Nacidit products and other Dominican products that I had never heard of before at a BSS on the corner Hillside Ave and Francis Lewis Blvd in Queens. (on the side of the street with Ridgewood Savings Bank).

Thanks again Britt and Boadicea for the locations of the other BSS, I plan to go to them at some point in the future to compare prices.
