I experimented with the flat iron yesterday after grounding myself from heat.
There's a little bit of progress!

Harigeek - Nope. I used an old fashioned Gold'N'Hot flat iron. I used a friends ceramic iron a while back and fell in love with it. She'd better watch it, it might come up missing ;-)

The flat ironing did not cause any damage.

That's the same flat iron I have ! Did you use a low setting ?! Or maybe a heat protectant ?? I wonder what I did wrong ... erplexed

I actually used the highest setting. My daily regimen consists of conditioner washing, surge products, but perhaps the Dax Olive Oil Pomade helped protect it as well as keep it straight.
