How long does it take you? Assuming that you don't wait until its 80% dry, but towel dry and apply them how does it take to dry fully?

If I make small parts, it takes around 6 hours. If I make larger parts, it takes 8-10 hours. Hair is usually damp when I put them in. I put them in once when my hair was soaking wet and it took nearly a day for it to dry.

I have never out them in on soaking wet hair unless I sat under the dryer...but when I do them on slighty damp hair and add setting lotion it comes out almost just as smooth and I'm almost six months into my transition! I'm amazed that it yields similar results to when I was freshly relaxed and didn't even air dry.

I always gave it a full 10 hours (overnight) to dry just in case. My hair was collarbone length and relaxed, medium density if that helps. I know those with thicker hair may need more time.

I was thinking to wait until it was almost dry too, because sometimes it take 12 hrs or more

It works very well! I dont have the patience to leave them in for that long lol. My hair is pretty porous so it dries pretty fast so if I have it out and let it dry for an hour or two, then put them in, it will dry in a few more hours.
