I was on another internet space, reading a discussion for type 1/2 hair. The poster was wondering if there was any way to tame the frizz that she encountered while air drying. Someone mentioned "air dry cream" as a solution. I'd never heard of it before.

How long have I been away? Has this always been a thing? Do you guys use this? How do you use this? What is the consistency like? Recommendations on brands?

I have so many questions!

I have tried the option from Curl Smith.

It's just marketing on a leave-in conditioner.

ETA: I should have elaborated a little bit more. It may have a little extra weight to hold and to aid in a smoother airdry, but most leave-ins with a bit of weight or a good moisture and seal combination can achieve the same results. It is worth trying out, and variations of this go on sale often. I got the item I mentioned half off, but it will have the same/very similar effect as many butter creams, activators, hair soufflés, Humectant gels, curl creams, styling lotions, and other moisturizing leave-ins that are used in air drying. I was just saying that many products on the market already do this, but the term "air dry cream" for the same effect is marketing to highlight its benefits.

But be careful, some air dry creams contain drying ingredients designed to make the hair dry faster and that can remove some of the benefits traditional airdrying with a quality leave-in gives.

I like Olaplex 6, Curlsmith and Briogeo Air Dry Creams (I'm sure I tried others) I use it with a dab of Oil - I like using them, but don't think they are a necessary product/step in my Regimen?:ohwell:
