Ok so I ran to the BSS today to grab up all the 1b micro braids they had in the store for my crochet style. I get there and
they have every blond color under the sun but no black, no 1b, no 4 nuffin.:nono:

I was like:blush:

So I of course I asked for help and I was directed to try Micro twist.
I never knew this existed in:spinning:
They we alot thicker than micro braids, and they cost twice as much:ohwell::perplexed.
But, I had to get back over the bridge and get my children so I was like welllll ok. to be honest I didn't think I was hip enough to pull of micro twist:lachen:

So I came home slapped them in and WOW WOW WOW!!!!

Now I have to be honest these bad boys are kinda heavy, I don't know How I am going to ZUMBA tomorrow with all this weight on my neck:grin:
But I really love the look so who cares, I just won't jump very much

SO as promised the pics
1. my cornrow HEYYY blackmasterpiece I didn't add hair this time. except on the braids that graced my edges

2. Front

3. back

ENJOY!!!

Omigosh!! Thats sooooo pretty!!! I love it!!:love2: and why you redo your crochet braids so often? lol try to leave this install in like a month hun:yep:

I redid the crochet braids I did in my siggy and they came out great too!.....dang I love this style:love3:

I wanted to leave the last set in for 4 weeks. but a few of the braids I didn't do well, they were on my edges by my ear
and I was concern about breakage. Otherwise I would have kept them in for 4 weeks.

This time I took my time more on the cornrows and redid them a few times until they felt right.

I have decided even if I have an off moment I will keep the style for at least 2 weeks.

Oh but guess what
My hair is back to the length it was before I cut it Jan 25th!!

Biotin 7500mcg and no Maintance styles is the truth!:yep:

your cornrows are gorgeous, wish mine looked like that -- that's EXACTLY why i got my cousin to do my last crochet braids base :lachen:

how many packs did you get? i actually saw a girl on YT with micro twists and contemplated doing this, but hairsisters had water wave on sale for $4.60 a pack. i have a whole summer anyway.

and you are right, low maintenance styles are the TROOF!

I used 6 packs. they were 4.99 but the BSS I go too gives me a 10% discount for being a military Spouse.

Very cute, I went in one of my local BSS's and that dude looked at me like I was crazy for askin about crochet anything. Had the nerve to ask"are you from here?" What! I hate to order them but, I just might have to.

:lachen::lachen:Are you in Atlanta that sounds like something that would happen in Atlanta:lachen::lachen:

Well I missed the crochet revolution from the last Century, I was too busy rockin a curly kit that had out lived it's shelf life. So I am making up for lost time:yep:

Very nice! Micro Twists huh? What brand did you use? Did you cut them in half (prob not) so were they already curled at the ends?

p.s. I Zumba too

The hair is by "Excellence in Style NEXT"
it's called "Open Twist"
the color is #2
The ends already had the curl. and I didn't cut them they would unravel if I did
I used 6 packs

I love Zumba too! I have never seen Micro Twists before, I'm glad your length is back too!

Zumba was awesome today, I went to a place that had lazer lights and huge speakers and the classed was packed at 10 am
IT HURT but it's worth it!

Good job!! So they have the micro twists too? Thats awesome...I am so in love with this crochet revolution!!!

Y'all make me sick!!

Cornrowing like pros.

Crochet braiding all hot and tight , doing Zumba.

I'm still sitting here trying to figure out what to do with my hair , ugggghhhh!!

:look: :perplexed :look:

I can't wait until my 1/2 hair is long enough to cornrow so that i can do crocheht braids and micro twists.!!!:ohwell:

I know I am replying late but I have been searching the web for this hair. Was it already curled at the end. I guess I am going to have to by the micro twists and dip them in hot water with rollers or something. Do you remember the type of hair????

Sooo, I see the type of hair but do you know if I can get it online??
