After your rollerset, how do you keep it up? I noticed that my hair got more flat than normal when I wrapped my hair. Do you roll it everynight? What products keep your rollerset looking fresh?

If you like to wear a rollerset, and want to keep body and curls, even when wrapping at night, I think the key is a layered cut. If your hair is all one length (or mostly one length), it will just all blend together and you will most likely have to wear rollers or pincurls at night to keep a curly look.

I use a satin scrunchie to make a very loose pony at the top of my head. In the morning I take off the scrunchie and shake/fingercomb my hair into place.

I usually rollerset and wrap every night, when I experience flatness in the am it is almost always near relaxer time (hair does not want to behave for nothin or nobody) but throwing a few rollers in before I get in the shower in the am brings the curls and bouncy back.

I was just about to say that. That was the issue with my hair its was really long and pretty much one length. So my rollerset/wrap would look really flat and boring in a couple of days, you would think I didnt even use rollers. But I recently just got a layer cut- in long to medium layers. So I didnt lose that much length, but yet at the same time my hair looks very full and the rollerset takes better on my hair- it makes my hair fall really nice.

pincurl. What I do is put my hair in a high, loose ponytail and put small rollers on the ends (learned that tip from kitchen_tician).

After my rollerset I put anywhere from 4 to 6 rollers in the crown area of my hair and then wrapp the rest of the remaining hair. I use Clairol Vitapointe or Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion to moisturize and to keep my rollerset looking good. In the morning when I take my hair down, I put a tiny bit of jojoba oil in the palm of my hands and then smoothe it over my hair for added shine.

I put anywhere from 6 to 10 rollers in my hair at night. They help to lift the roots and maintain the curls, especially if I shower at night because the steam helps set my hair.
