After I cut my hair off....

...now it's back to just below shoulder length (about an inch or so). It's kinda awkward? It's all one length beacuse I'd cut it in January to get rid of the layers. I wear a bun mostly all the time, but I want to wear it out sometimes too. Sometimes though I feel like it's too full around my face because it's all one length and all the curl stops at the same place when I wet set. Does anyone know what I mean?

My questions are:

1. Is the full fat hair around the face cute?----(I know I didn't post a pic, but...)

2. Shouldn't I keep wearing it up because I'm at the stage where wearing it down makes my hair constantly rub my shoulders?

In a few months, thinghs will, be better, but can ya'll help a sister out till then???

1. I think it can be depending on the person, for you, definently!
2. Just keep it in a protective style until it grows a little longer. On the crown and glory website, it said this is the stage where more breakage occurs (brushing clothes).

If in doubt, you can always try a half up, half down style which takes away the fullness of the sides.

What I did at that length was wear my hair in a bun or whatever protective style and have a long, loose tendril or two on the sides. This let me experience my hair length as it was growing out while the rest was pinned away.

nubianqt86,
the rubbing is what I was concerned about.

Isis, the tendrils an bun sounds good. I always do the bun, but never leave any hair out. This might give me some new motivation

Thanks Ladies!
